Communities Philippines Builds Homes for OFWs
By Lauren on May 26, 2008 in Real Estate News
There are 7.76 overseas Filipino workers in the United States, Singapore, the UK, Hong Kong, and Italy who account for almost 10% of the country’s gross national product. A third of their remittances goes towards real estate investment. Since most overseas Filipino workers want homes not just in the Philippines, but in the provinces where they grew up, Communities Philippines is working to provide them with world-class homes in places of their childhood.
Communities Philippines is part of Vista Land and Lifescapes, one of the country’s largest homebuilders with years of experience in the real estate industry under its belt. President of Communities Philippines Jerylle Quismundo says that you don’t have to live in Metro Manila to own a beautiful home with modern-day amenities. Whether you were born in Pangasinan or Cagayan de Oro, Communities Philippines aims to provide OFWs reasons to come back to their roots in comfort.
Currently they are working on housing projects in over 17 cities in Pangasinan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Camarines Sur, Batangas, Leyte, Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and General Santos. Each master-planned community will have features like 24-hour security, landscaping, and a wide range of house models to choose from. They also intend to expand their geographic reach to provide OFWs and their families with more investment opportunities and payment schemes.
Visit the Communities Philippines website for more information on their projects.
