Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) can take advantage of SSS’s Direct Housing Loan Facility that aims to provide low-cost housing for your family in the Philippines. If you’re younger than 65 years old, a certified OFW, and an active SSS member with at least 12 months continuous contributions, you may be qualified to receive a housing loan. Loanable amounts for socialized housing is Php 300,000; for low-cost housing you can get a loan from Php 500,000 to Php 1,000,000. All loans can be paid in multiples of five for a maximum of thirty years, so long as it doesn’t exceed the building’s economic life. Interests rates are 9% for Php 300,000 loans, 13% for Php 500,000 and 14% for Php 1,000,000.

Hello there! I’m Sybel Rea, working in Canada for a couple of months. I am interested in this site regarding Housing loan for Overseas Filipino Workers. Because I want to apply. But it states there that it requires us to be a member on SSS and at least to have 12 months contributions. Hi! i would like to ask, if i applied for a pag-ibig housing loan, how long will it take for the approval, if ever im qualified for the housing loan application.
greetings..may i ask when processing documents for the loan on house construction at SSS, if tax declaration & deed of sale is accepted? Because processing of lot title takes time and it is a hindrance specially like me as OFW, that i cannot attend to follow-up on different agencies. I am qualified on all necessary requirements, and this certificate of title is the only thing that i don’t have.
