Good news for those working in the Ortigas Center area. Ortigas & Co. is going to build a Php 12-billion residential complex in the Libis area of Quezon City and a Php 2-billion knowledge process outsourcing campus across the Tiendesitas area. These projects are designed to attract enough tenants so that a retailing component will be built later on. Ultimately, the company intends to redevelop Ortigas Center to increase its property values and to enhance the area’s status as a first-rate business district in Metro Manila. No news as to when the project will be completed, but reports say that architectural firm Palafox and Associates are working on a designed to turn the Ortigas Center into a mixed-use business center.
